Biblical Answers to Ten Questions about Catholicism

  • The Stovall House 4621 Bayshore Boulevard Tampa, FL, 33611 United States (map)

r. Duaphinais, PhD will present highlights from his recent book, “Wisdom from the Word: Biblical Answers to Ten Questions about Catholicism”. His book focuses on how Catholics have distanced themselves from the Church or, if they stay, fail to draw true meaning from the Catholic Faith. Countless faithful Catholics, moreover, have friends and family members who find the teachings of the Church confusing or simply unintelligible. This talk invites Catholics to pause and give the Bible a chance to illuminate their way. From the existence of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the Church’s teaching on marriage and sexuality, this talk will explore common challenges to the faith in light of the timeless insights of the Word of God.
